In his letter to High Commissioner Bachelet, Ambassador Abu Said indicated that the parties concerned should be urged to establish the facts through an international commission of inquiry referred to in his previous letter to the Council on 6 October 2018, also addressed to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, Middle East to the facts about the details of the crime before the media.
He pointed out to Ms. Bachelet how a human rights committee composed of international organizations supporting the work of the Commission and recognized for its impartiality and standing at a distance from all parties to ensure the integrity of the course of the investigation, as well as the need to take all reports issued by the parties concerned directly or indirectly And to consider all the details and serious accusations raised at the highest levels on this subject.
He concluded by saying that the discrepancy in the information would mislead the facts because of not direct charges and this is a blow to the core of the international human rights and human rights conventions. He also demanded in the letter not to be complacent and reckless and to hold accountable those who harass them, especially that the information in the case of the killing of Khashoggi suggests a brutal act Unprecedentedly conceived and designed.
